Born and raised in Kentucky in a family where everyone played an instrument or sang. He learned to tell stories from Uncle Jim and how to play the harmonica from his Grandma (Gospels and Hymns) and, when Grandma wasn’t listening, his Aunt Virginia (Blues). Those were the “Good Ole’ Days” of Prohibition, the Great Depression, Hoboes and Fire and Brimstone on Sundays. A lot to sing about.

Stephen Kayser
Singer-Songwriter, Guitar

I got my first guitar, a $25 nylon-string, on Christmas eve, 6th grade.  That night, I learned 3 chords and wrote a song.  Music has been my creative companion ever since... leaning towards songs of deeper emotion.  I'm honored to share the History House stage with Alan Ehrlich, an accomplished and smooth singer, guitarist and composer.  In addition to our solo offerings, we'll undoubtedly collaborate on a few tunes.

Whateverly Brothers

Whateverly Brothers
Chris Glannister / Matthew Moeller / Dan Roberts
“Homemade three layer harmonies with instrumental frosting!”

The Brothers have performed for many years as solo artists and members of obscure folk groups across the Pacific Northwest. Now these three talents are together as the Whateverly Brothers. The music world will never be the same! “It’s a blending of the finest traditions of vocal harmony.” Drawing from a rich and varied musical history, The Whateverly Brothers harken to the folksinger tradition that: “No musical style is sacred”. Weigh anchor! Raise the glass! Sing along!

Tamara Lewis

Passionate Folk

Singer-Songwriter

Tamara Lewis, acoustic singer/songwriter out of Seattle, provides us with a musical mirror of our lives with her pure voice, passionate songs and contemporary blend of folk, country and blues. Her voice is crystal clear and expressive and has been described as sounding like Alison Kraus with shades of Patsy Cline. Audiences leave feeling like they’ve had their own stories sung, been to church, a comedy club and had a glass of wine with a good friend.

Jerin Falkner

Singer-Songwriter

There is nothing wrong with the girl next door unless she writes like the devil and sings like a siren. Since 2004, Jerin Falkner has released three independent albums and written over fifty songs. Her five-year plan is to A) drink a lot of coffee, B) get signed to a label that is both classy and sassy, and C) feel pretty and witty and bright. So far, she has accomplished both A and C with minimal effort and is focusing her remaining energy on B.
